This was a great experience. Very accommodating and knows how to make you feel comfortable with the horses as a first time rider. The horses are very calm and well trained. Luna the dog is also a great addition to the ride if you're lucky to have her on one of your rides.
My husband and i went in kate august. The owner was absolutely amazing. We wanted to initially do a 2 hour ride but he was short staffed that day so we did an hour ride. It was no problem at all. May have been shorter than expected but he gave the best ride ever. he was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. It was just a great ride overall and his company made the difference. I am actually going to call him soon to book a winter ride. The idiot that gave him one star is just an idiot and clearly critiques every and any place he goes and has no life so don't waste your time reading his reviews. .
Claire gave my friend and I a wonderful tour that lasted an hour and a half. Everyone was so friendly and the horses were adorable. I rode Yankee, he was a good boy. Claire took some nice pictures of us as well. I highly recommend taking a get away here! Thanks again :)!
The best trail ride I've ever had. Beautiful trail and scenery. Great people. Private tour given to the 2 of us by John. Made my husband a 1st time rider and I feel super comfortable and at ease. John has a calming demeanor that will make even the most nervous inexperienced rider feel comfortable and at ease. So many different ride options to choose from. Overall a wonderful riding experience in an amazingly gorgeous setting.
I do not know how this place stays in business. I had planned a trip and initially emailed Mountain View Ranch for information. After a few back and forth emails, they still gave me limited information on reserving horseback riding. I called Mountain View and was set to reserve a time. Asking what was available for the time frame needed was obviously too difficult for them to answer. I told them I would call back to hopefully get an available spot reserved. I called back and the owner, I believe, stated he was going out on a ride then and would call me back. I never received an email or call. I guess they do not need business.
